The discomfort that started the studio
Too many rings felt expensive before they felt personal. They were polished, consistent and easy to reproduce, but carried little evidence of the people who had made them.
For an object meant to represent love, that distance felt wrong to us. We believed a meaningful ring should not feel as though it had passed untouched through a production line.

From the beginning, our first principle was to keep people involved. A person considers the proportions, selects the stone, shapes the setting, refines the surface and checks the finished ring.
